ONLINE PAYMENTS FOR FOOD SERVICE

It has come to our attention that Web Store customers using Internet Explorer 7 may encounter a problem when selecting a credit card expiration date via the drop-down menu.  This is a known Microsoft issue with their Internet Explorer 7 browser. To complete checkout, web customers may click on the non-working drop-down menu and use the Up and Down Arrow keys on their keyboard to select a value.  Web customers may also use a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome to complete their transaction.

To prevent this issue from occurring in the future, we highly recommend that web customers upgrade their browser to a newer version of Internet Explorer.

Windows XP Users: visit the following Microsoft website to download Internet Explorer 8: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-8.

Windows Vista and Windows 7 Users: visit the following Microsoft website to download Internet Explorer 9: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-9/worldwide-languages.

As a convenience to parents, the Norwin School District now provides parents an easy way to add money to their child’s food service account.  Online payments can be made through the Skyward Family Access parent portal.  Parents will be charged a fee of $1.75 per transaction to offset the District’s cost.  We have contracted with RevTrak, a national credit card payment processor, to provide a secure site for making payments.  If you have not already done so, you can sign up for Skyward Family Access by visiting the Norwin web site at www.norwinsd.org.

 

Families are now charged only one transaction fee for multiple deposits!

 However, with this change, families with more than one child enrolled in the District will see the combined balance for all of their childrens accounts.  The account is shared by all students in the family!  For example, Mr. Smith places $25.00 on each of his three childrens Food Service accounts, when Mr. Smith logs onto Family Access, he will notice that each child's account has increased by $75.00.   
 

Online Payments Are Easy and Convenient!

 

Parents can make online payments from home or work, 24/7.  If your child’s food service balance is low, it only takes a few minutes to add money using your VISA or MasterCard credit or debit card.  Payments are made through the student’s Skyward Family Access account.

 

To make online payments:

 

  • From the district website www.norwinsd.org
  • Click on "Family Access" - located under the Norwin logo
  • Log in to Skyward Family Access using your Login and Password (you can not use your child's Login and Password)
  • Use your VISA or MasterCard (credit or debit)–card number & expiration date required

 Payments made through Skyward Family Access will immediately be posted to the student’s food service account.
