College in High School Options
The College in High School Program is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh and Seton Hill University. This program allows students to earn college credits and a transcript for the University of Pittsburgh and/or Seton Hill University while taking classes in the Norwin High School. The College in High School classes have a minimal tuition fee which is payable to the respective university. University refund and withdraw policies apply to these courses. Norwin Transcript and Diploma
Students who satisfy the requirements for graduation from Norwin School District receive an official Norwin School District transcript and diploma and may participate in graduation ceremonies.

Central Westmoreland Career and Technolgy Center
As one of the members of the Central Westmoreland Career and Technolgoy Center, Norwin is able to offer its students a wide variety of vocational and technical experiences. Students who choose to enroll and are accepted spend one-half of their school day at Norwin, where they take subjects to meet normal academic requirements, and the other half of their day prusuing their specialty at the vo-tech school. These students are preparing for the world of work and/or continued education in technical skills.

Library Services
The Norwin High School library offers standard research tools, such as Access Pennsylvania and the Interlibrary Loan Program, which provides access to more than 75 million volumes from over 3000 libraries across the state. In addition, Share Westmoreland is an Interlibrary Loan Program which enables students to borrow magazine articles from libraries in our county, including public libraries, the four academic libraries, medical libraries and the law library in Greensburg. Through the Access PA database students are able to utilize "Ask Here PA" which is a 24/7 live chat with a reference librarian. This enalbes students with difficult research the ability to find answeres. The Library program also introduces students to EBSCO, which is a multidisciplinary database providing full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals with full-text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier contains full text for nearly 500 reference books and over 164,400 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of over 592,000 photos, maps & flags. It also provides searchable full text ebooks. This database is updated daily via EBSCOhost.

Fitness Facilities
The state-of-the-art fitness center located in the Norwin High School is available afterschool for student use.
