    What is WIRC?

    WIRC is a competition for Middle School students, grades 6 – 9, who like to read. The competition is held at Seton Hill University in March. Teams of up to 12 students have the opportunity to compete against other teams of students throughout the county to see who can correctly answer the most questions about books they have read. This competition is a great way to meet new friends and read great books!

     

    What is required?

            Students must read and pass a test for a minimum of 15 books from a list of 40 titles. (See 2013-2014 Book List link)

            Students must have read and passed the testfor 8 books by December to continue as a member of the team.

            All 15 required books and tests mus t be completed by February ?, 2014 to attend the competition.
