According to The Pittsburgh Business Times 2011 School Rankings Norwin High School is ranked 14th out of 104 school district high schools and ranked second in Westmoreland County.
As part of the Pennsylvania Accountability System and in compliance with No Child Left Behind (NCLB), Pennsylvania and all districts and schools within the Commonwealth are required to create Report Cards at the beginning of the school year.
