We will be having Ski Club on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
The weather will be cold (around 20) so please remember to bring extra clothes (gloves, hats, scarves, goggles, shirts, pants) that you can layer.
We will be monitoring the skiers and boarders during the evening. We will be making sure that they come in to warm up after lessons.
Next week, January 31, will be our last week, as long as the weather hold. We always have a pizza party. I supply the pizza, drinks, and snack. If you child does not like pizza, please be sure to send money in for dinner.
Also, we stay on this night until 9:00 pm to get in some extra skiing. We will arrive at Hillcrest at 10:00 pm.

The following were found at Hidden Valley after the bus left. The parents took the items to the lost and found. We are not certain if they were ours because we share the room with the public. Please call Hidden Valley to see if the items are still there.
1. Brown hat with fur inside
2. Black helmet bag with "Nike" on outside
3. Pink hat with white braids on it
4. Black jacket that says Columbia on front
5. Black Fleece vest
6. Pink sock
7. Black backpack with ski helmet in it - this was with a green bag with a blue jacket and ski helmet in it
The following were left on the bus. Please have your child go to Mrs. Duncan, Mr. Patrick, or Mr. Cuturilo to claim them.

2. black (child’s large) ½ zip shirt

4. black Seirus Facemask

Hillcrest Ski Club
December 12, 2012
Forms were given to the students who signed up for Ski Club. These forms need to be returned by Friday, December 14, 2012.
The cost for transportation is $60. This is also due on Friday, December 14, 2012.
Please make checks payable to "Norwin Activity Fund" with "Hillcrest Ski Club" in the memo.

Sign Up Forms/Permission Slips
We have extended the deadline for Sign Up Forms/Permission Slips to be handed in.
If you need a form, have your child see me in room 230 or you can scroll to the bottom of this page and download one.
The deadline will be Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Money is due on this date.
After signing up, your child will receive the ski/board rental form (if your child is renting), helmet rental form (everyone, unless your child has a helmet), and waiver (everyone). Hidden Valley changed insurance companies and they needed to change their forms. Once I get the forms, your child will receive them. The forms will be due on December 11, 2012.
After everyone has signed up, I can determine the cost of the bus. The cost for using the bus has gone up. The more students that join the cheaper the transportation cost. It should be around $70. This will be due on December 11, 2012.

WELCOME TO HILLCREST SKI CLUB
There was an Open House on Thursday, October 25. If your child is interested in joining Ski Club and was not at the Open House, please have him/her stop by Room 230 to pick up an information sheet and a permission slip.
Payment and all forms are due Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
The cost for the bus transportation will be determined after the total numbers of students are finalized. The bus transportation payment will be due Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
I have attached the forms and you can download them and send them in with your child. Please make checks payable to "Norwin Activity Fund" with "Hillcrest Ski Club" in the memo. Put it in an envelope and send to the attention of Mrs. Duncan, Room 230.

The cost for the 2013 Season will range from $130 (lesson and lift ticket) to $205 (snowboard rental, lesson, and lift ticket). The cost of transportation varies depending on the number of students participating. It should be around $70.
