Mrs. Willig is beginning her sixth year with the Norwin School District, but her first year as Hahntown Elementary principal.   After earning her B.S. in Elementary Education and a Masters degree as a Reading Specialist, she taught in Mohawk Area School District.  During her tenure, she taught in full day kindergarten, grade 5, grade 6, and served as a Title I Reading Specialist.  During her time at Mohawk, Mrs. Willig attended Youngstown State and received her Principal's certificate. 

 

For the past five years,  Mrs. Willig has served as Norwin's Response to Instruction and Intervention Coordinator.  She has also coordinated the Transition Program and organized the Night with the Young Knight preschool program.

 

Mrs. Willig lives in the Norwin School District with her husband Greg and their daughter Sydney, who attends Stewartsville Elementary.
