Brian Henderson graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and began his teaching career at Pennsylvania Avenue Elementary School as a sixth grade teacher. He was transfered to the fifth grade after his first year and while teaching at Pennsylavania Avenue he attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. He was transfered to Scull Elementary School and served as both a fifth grade teacher and head teacher. After teaching for a number of years he attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned 45 credits towards a doctoral degree. He transfered to California University of Pennsylvania and earned his principal's certification and has been serving as an assistant principal at Hillcrest Intermediate School since it reopened after renovations in 2002. |
