This course includes the study of words presented from the text book and other words that are appropriate to the other areas of the curriculum. This course covers all of the areas of communication (i.e. reading, writing, acting, demonstrating, speaking, etc.). Emphasis is on grammar review (parts of speech – i.e. adjectives, nouns, verbs, etc.), stressing the writing of sentences and paragraphs in order to meet the PSSA standards.
