Throughout
the year we will be working on a variety of artworks that will incorporate
the elements of art while creating an awareness of their principles. Art history will be incorporated into each
lesson through the use of slides, videos, posters, books, and the
internet. Students will work
individually as well as in groups to create co-operative works. Also, disciplines such as math, reading,
social studies, and science will be integrated into their artwork. |

the emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth,
from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web.” Pablo Picasso
