COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS PROGRAM

MISSION STATEMENT:

Through quality educational experiences, the Norwin School District prepares  students to become productive and responsible citizens in an ever-changing global society.

What is the Community Connections program?

Giving back to the community is always a goal for Norwin School District.  The latest initiative to meet that goal is a program called Community Connections. Through it, Norwin teachers will conduct a series of evening classes, ranging from computer skills, to CPR, drama and ceramics.  There will be sessions to teach family board games and if you have ever wanted to learn Zumba or speak Italian, this is your chance.  While a majority of the classes are for adults, several will be available for students.  The public can sign up for the classes, which vary in length from three to ten sessions.  A small fee will be charged. More information, including a registration form, will be sent home with K – 6 students, posted on the District’s website at www.norwinsd.org and will be available in the offices of the Middle and High Schools.

Questions should be directed to the coordinators of the program.
