Building Announcements

  • PTA/Volunteer Training Meeting
    There will be a PTA meeting on February 23rd at 6PM.
    A "VOLUNTEER TRAINING" will be held at this meeting. 
    If you are new to the building or were not able to attend one of the earlier meetings this will be the final Volunteer Training of the year. 
    This training is required for all adults to volunteer in any capacity.

  • Kindergarten Orientation
    Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012.  You will receive an invitation letter at the Kindergarten Screening on March 5, 2012 that will indicate if you are to attend the morning or the afternoon session.  It is important to reserve May 7th on your calendar because you will not receive a reminder letter.

  • Kindergarten Registration
    The Norwin School District will begin registering children for the 2012-2013 kindergarten classes.  Children must reside within the District boundaries and be five years of age before September 1, 2012.
     
    Parents are requested to visit the school between January 30 and February 3 to to be placed on the school's mailing list and receive a registration packet to prepare for the formal registration in March.
     
    Kindergarten Screening
    Kindergarten screening will take place on Monday, March 5, 2012.   You will be scheduled for a specific time to have your child screened when you register your child for Kindergarten during the week of January 30.   Please remember to return all of your completed papers, they will be collected at the time of screening.

  • 2 HOUR DELAY SCHEDULE
    In the event of a 2 hour delay follow the times listed below.
     
    Students in Full Day Kindergarten thru 4th grade may enter the building at 10:45AM.
    Dismssal remains the same at 3:30PM.
     
    AM Kindergarten students are to be dropped off at 10:45AM.
    AM Kindergaren students pick up is at 1:00PM.
     
    PM Kindergarten students are to be dropped off at 1:30PM.
    PM Kindergarten students are dismissed at 3:30PM.
     
    No Breakfast is served on a 2 hour delay. 
    Please be sure your child eats breakfast prior to coming to school.
