    NOTICE TO APPLICANTS: The Norwin School District utilizes an online application system called FastTrack.  All candidates seeking employment should submit their application materials online for review by Administration.  Application materials should be updated regularly and uploaded accordingly. In the event there is a vacancy, application materials will be reviewed and screened by the appropriate Administrative team members and candidates will be selected for interviewing. 

    Once candidates are selected, the District will initiate a comprehensive and competitive interviewing process. Depending on the position, there may be up to three (3) interviews conducted prior to selecting a candidate to recommend to the Norwin Board of Education for employment.  For Central Office and Principal/Assistant Principal positions, the Board of Education will be involved in the final round of the interview process. After selecting a candidate for hire, the District will conduct reference checks and obtain all the proper state-mandated clearances and background check documents.

    EMERGENCY CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

    The Norwin School District is looking for individuals holding a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree to obtain PA Emergency Teaching Certification in order to become day to day substitute teachers in the District.

    The rate of pay is $105/day (subject to change)

    The District is holding an Emergency Substitute Teacher Orientation on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.  Attendance is mandatory in order to be placed on the Emergency Substitute List.

    SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS NEEDED 
     
     The Norwin School District is looking for substitute custodians, primarily for 2nd and 3rd shift work. 
    The current substitute rate of pay is $9.30/hour.   Interested applicants should click on the Online Job Application Icon below and submit an application.  Acts 24, 34, 151, FBI, 126 Child Abuse History Training and Act 168 Background Checks will need to be provided prior to working.    Hard copy applications should not be submitted.

    SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL NURSES NEEDED

     

     Applications being accepted for substitute certified School Nurses and substitute Health Room/Office Assistants (Nurse’s Aides). Must be an RN or an LPN, hold a current nursing license and must obtain Acts 24, 34, 151, 126/Child Abuse Training, and FBI clearances prior to working.  Salary for substitute School Nurse is $105/day, salary for substitute Nurse’s Aide is $13.50/hour.  Interested applicants should click here for information that must be turned in to the Human Resources Department to get on the substitute list.
