Norwin Online Academy (NOA) Hybrid Learning Model
The Norwin Online Academy (NOA) Hybrid Learning Model provides a flexible, student-centered educational experience that combines online coursework with in-person learning opportunities. This model allows students to personalize their academic program based on their individual needs, goals, interests, and learning styles while maintaining access to Norwin School District resources, programs, and support services.
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Students enrolled in the hybrid learning model may participate in any Advanced Placement course offered at Norwin High School, providing opportunities for rigorous academic study and potential college credit.

College in High School
The College in High School Program enables students to earn college credits and establish a college transcript through participating universities while attending classes at Norwin High School. Tuition fees apply to these courses.

Career and Technical Education (CTE)
Through Norwin's partnership with the Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center (CWCTC), students may enroll in more than 20 half-day career and technical education programs. These programs provide hands-on training and industry-focused learning experiences in a variety of skilled trades and technical fields.
Post-Secondary Planning
Students and families have access to a wide range of college and career readiness opportunities, including academic and career planning, scheduling fairs, college and career assemblies, visits from college and university representatives, and informational sessions with military recruiters. These experiences help students explore and prepare for their post-secondary goals.
