Hillcrest Intermediate School was completely renovated and expanded. The existing portion of the building was brought up to present day standards including compliance with ADA and technology upgrades. The expansion included the addition of:
- a new wing containing classrooms, project rooms, art rooms, faculty planning rooms and restrooms.
- a new wing containing a full size gymnasium, stage, cafetorium and kitchen.
- a new library wing.
- site work including; expanded parking, new entrance drive, 2 new ball fields, a paved play area and paved student access connecting to the high school campus, tennis courts and stadium.
