NOTICE TO APPLICANTS: All candidates seeking employment should submit their application materials online or review by Administration. Application materials should be updated regularly and uploaded accordingly. In the event there is a vacancy, application materials will be reviewed and screened by the appropriate Administrative team members and candidates will be selected for interviewing.
Once candidates are selected, the District will initiate a comprehensive and competitive interviewing process. Depending on the position, there may be up to three (3) interviews conducted prior to selecting a candidate to recommend to the Norwin Board of Education for employment. For Central Office and Principal/Assistant Principal positions, the Board of Education will be involved in the final round of the interview process. After selecting a candidate for hire, the District will conduct reference checks and obtain all the proper state-mandated clearances and background check documents.
EMERGENCY CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
The Norwin School District is looking for individuals holding a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree to obtain PA Emergency Teaching Certification in order to become day to day substitute teachers in the District. The rate of pay is $105/day (subject to change).

*Attendance is mandatory in order to be placed on the Emergency Substitute List.

ASSOCIATE BAND SPONSOR
Duties: Ths Associate Band Director shall be responsible for conducting rehearsals in small group, sectional and ensemble settings. The successful candidate will be well versed in instrumental and musical fundamentals and will be able to teach students at varying levels of proficiency. The candidates will also be responsible for teaching visual/marching rehearsals.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a motivated, energetic educator and leader. Experience teaching marching band and/or other ensembles is required. Drum Corps experience is a plus. The successful candidate must be well versed in woodwind pedagogy. Degree in Music a plus, but not required.
This is a non-athletic supplemental position and will pay $4,688 at the end of the 2018-2019 school year which will be the 1st pay in May, 2019.

Applications being accepted for substitute Certified School Nurses and substitute Non Certified School Nurses (Nurse’s Aides). Must be an RN or an LPN, hold a current nursing license and must obtain Acts 24, 34, 151, 126/Child Abuse Training, and FBI clearances prior to working. Salary for substitute School Nurse is $105/day, salary for substitute Nurse’s Aide is $13.60/hour.
