Norwin Substitute Teacher Academy

Did You Know ...

...that you can become a Norwin substitute teacher, which now pays $120 per day, without a teaching degree?

Norwin School District highly values its substitute teachers and considers them to be an integral part of the overall educational program.

To prepare more substitute teachers to enter the classroom, the School District has developed a FREE Norwin Substitute Teacher Academy to be held March 10 & 11, 2021. This will train non-certified teachers to become emergency-certified substitutes who can work immediately at Norwin School District earning the newly increased rate of $120 per day.

Benefits of Substitute Teaching

Substitute teaching at Norwin offers many rewards, which include a flexible schedule, working with children from the Norwin community, and learning new skills to meet new challenges every day. Norwin has a well-deserved reputation for academic excellence and for having a supportive community, which also makes substitute teaching here a rewarding experience.
