PAC Ribbon Cutting
The Norwin School District proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, March 4, to celebrate the official completion and opening of the new Norwin High School Performing Arts Center. The event welcomed members of the Norwin Board of Education, teachers, staff, community members, District administration, and project partners who played a role in bringing the renovation to life. Guests enjoyed a first look at the transformed space and, upon entering, were greeted with a special sneak peek of Mamma Mia!, the Norwin Theatre Company’s upcoming spring production. Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to explore the many improvements made to the facility, including enhancements to lighting and acoustics, upgrades to the stage, proscenium, rigging systems, and backstage areas, as well as renovations to the large group instruction (LGI) multi-use spaces that improved both safety and accessibility.

This project would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of many partners, including the Norwin Board of Education for their steadfast support and commitment to prioritizing the needs of students. The District is also grateful to the professionals whose expertise brought this vision to life, including the architects of DRAW Collective, Massaro Construction Management, Glancey Construction, and the many contractors who contributed to the project.

The evening marked more than the celebration of a newly renovated facility—it represented the culmination of a thoughtful and collaborative process centered on strengthening the educational and performance experiences of Norwin students, families, and the entire school community, and reflects the District’s continued commitment to investing in spaces that support creativity, collaboration, and student growth.
