Norwin Board of Directors: Virtual Board Meeting Monday, September 21, 2020

The Norwin Board of School Directors will be meeting on Monday, September 21, 2020, beginning at 6:30 p.m. via an online format. 

 

Members of the public who wish to view and/or participate in the meeting can do so in four ways:

Visit Norwin School District's official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/norwinsd/) at the meeting time to view a livestream of the meeting.

a. Please note that there are a limited number of participants allowed in Zoom, so please use this option only if you plan to speak.
 
b. Please click here to complete an online public comment sign-up form in advance of the meeting.
 
The Zoom link information will be emailed to you upon submittal of the sign-up form.
 
c. When the public comment portion of the meeting begins, please click the “raise hand” icon in the virtual meeting window. The meeting host will enable your audio so you may provide your comment to the board. Once you are done, the meeting host will mute your audio and go to the next person in the room who would like to provide public comment.
 
d. Please note that all speakers will be limited to two minutes each.
 
4. View a recording of the meeting
This will be provided within the BoardDocs Agenda webspace on the District website the day after the meeting.
 

 

DIRECTIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ZOOM VIRTUAL MEETING

 

You will need to click the link when available above in Item #3 and then create a profile using the Zoom online videoconferencing application. In your profile, you must enter your first and last name. After you click the virtual meeting link to enter the virtual meeting, you will first be entered into a virtual waiting room. In order to be admitted to the virtual board meeting, you must have your first and last name appear as a named participant. The meeting host will then admit you to the virtual board meeting room. When you enter the room, you will automatically be muted.

 

Unfortunately, the District is unable to provide technical support and troubleshooting for members of the public who experience technical difficulties with these technology platforms. We strongly suggest you test your speaker, microphone, and webcam (optional) when you click on the zoom link after it is provided.
