Senior Citizens Dinner

Senior Citizens’ Dinner | 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Norwin High School

This dinner is a staple to the Norwin Community, annually hosting over 400 members of the Irwin/North Huntingdon area FOR FREE. Residents of the Norwin community aged 55 and older are asked to send a self-addressed stamped envelope with their name & mailing address to: Norwin High School Student Council, 251 McMahon Drive, North Huntingdon, PA 15642 (ATTN: Patrick MacLaughlin, Sr. Citizens’ Dinner). Norwin residents can request up to 2 tickets.
Sheridan Terrace Students

Sheridan Terrace Named a National ESEA Distinguished School

Sheridan Terrace Elementary was recently named as a National ESEA Distinguished School for exceptional student achievement in 2018. It is one of 100 schools that was nationally recognized, according to the National Association of Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) State Program Administrators.

Every January, Norwin School District takes time to celebrate and recognize the challenging and vital work that its school directors do on behalf of Norwin students, families and community. The Members of the Norwin Board of Education have a combined 79 years of service.
