Fifteen Norwin seniors have successfully completed their Global Scholars Portfolio and have earned recognition from the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association (PSMLA). The Norwin Global Scholars program develops global awareness and competency and better prepares students for personal and professional success in an increasingly global society. As Global Scholars, they will receive a certificate and Global Scholar honor cords.
The Norwin Class of 2020 consists of 393 seniors who have completed all necessary requirements for graduation and who are determined to follow a productive and contributing pathway for future success.
Nine Norwin High School students have been recognized by Carnegie Mellon University for their hard work in building an autonomous vehicle -- specifically, a modified toddler Jeep. The students, who are in Mr. Robert Shuber's Technology Club, participated in the Square One Autonomous Innovative Vehicle Design Challenge earlier this school year.
