AHERA Notification

In compliance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), an EPA‑accredited inspector conducted building inspections throughout all Norwin School District facilities. These inspections are part of the District’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

About the AHERA Requirements

These inspections are conducted to meet the requirements of the AHERA Regulation (40 CFR Part 763, Subpart E: “Asbestos‑Containing Materials in Schools”).

A copy of each building’s inspection report is available for review in the main office of that building. Any building occupant or legal guardian may request to view the documents.
