Senior Citizens’ Dinner | 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Norwin High School

This dinner is a staple to the Norwin Community, annually hosting over 400 members of the Irwin/North Huntingdon area FOR FREE.

Residents of the Norwin community aged 55 and older are asked to send a self-addressed stamped envelope with their name & mailing address to: Norwin High School Student Council, 251 McMahon Drive, North Huntingdon, PA 15642 (ATTN: Patrick MacLaughlin, Sr. Citizens’ Dinner). Norwin residents can request up to 2 tickets.

Every January, Norwin School District takes time to celebrate and recognize the challenging and vital work that its school directors do on behalf of Norwin students, families and community.

The Members of the Norwin Board of Education have a combined 79 years of service.

Kindergarten Registration Begins February 5, 2019

Starting February 5, 2019, Norwin School District will begin registering children for the 2019-2020 kindergarten classes using the online registration system called Registration Gateway.
Beginning Monday, February 5, 2019, parents wishing to register should visit the Norwin School District Web site at www.norwinsd.org and select the REGISTRATION link to access the site and complete all necessary pre-registration forms.

Gifted Students Speak To Community At Eighth-Annual American Education Week Celebration

Norwin School District celebrated American Education Week by hosting the eighth-annual Business-Education-Community Program, an event that shines a spotlight on student achievement and brings representatives of the greater Norwin community into the school setting.

This year’s program theme was “Public Education: A Treasured Gift,” and it featured students who have benefited from the Norwin Gifted Program.
