Kindergarten
Kindergarten instruction is currently provided on a full-day or half-day basis to those students who have reached the age of 5. Students must reach the age of 5 before September 1st of each school year in order to be admitted to the kindergarten program. Transportation is provided by the district one way for kindergarten students: to the morning and full-day sessions and from the afternoon sessions. Parents are responsible for making the necessary arrangements from morning and full-day kindergarten sessions and to afternoon kindergarten sessions.
Children are assigned to the full-day class based on developmental need as indicated by the Brigance Early Screen and by lottery for any remaining roster openings.
