School Breakfast Program (SBP)

 

Governor Tom Wolf announced that Pennsylvania will make it possible for all schools participating in the School Breakfast Program (SBP)

to provide free breakfasts for all enrolled students during the 2022-23 school year,

beginning with breakfast meals served October 1, 2022.

 

 
Norwin School District’s Food & Nutrition Services Department offers the federally assisted School Breakfast Program in all district cafeterias providing students with a nutritious breakfast that meets recommended dietary guidelines. All elementary and secondary students are eligible to participate in the breakfast program. 

The cost for breakfast is $1.85/daily. However, students who qualify for free or reduced price lunches under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) are also entitled to receive breakfast for free or at the reduced price of .30¢.

Breakfast is served from:

  • 7:00 - 7:15 a.m. at the High School
  • 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Intermediate & Middle School
  • 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. at all elementary school
